To the Parents of Potential Students,

I am sure I am like you when I say “I want the best for my kids”. Above all worldly things I care most for my children. When the time came three years ago for us to look for a care facility for our children we had two major criteria: Christian faith based, and loving towards our children. The team at Cornerstone has gone above and beyond meeting our criteria. The teachers here have a genuine loving Christian spirit and love the children as if they were their own. They reinforce the consistency we have at home, within the classroom. This has taught my children organization as well as respect for those in charge. From the bible songs my kids sing at home to the verses they recite, I know they are learning things that are important. My children have learned Spanish, math facts, they have learned how to read and they have more confidence because of it. The way the students bond with each other is amazing. We love the class parties, the special programs as well as the fellowship amongst Christian friends. Every parent loves their children and it certainly shows in the behavior of each child. Cornerstone is special, they set the bar high for themselves; and to my family they are the gold standard for children’s care. My children have grown up enough now that they don’t need to come to Cornerstone anymore. If l ever need someone to watch my children in the future I have every intention of bringing them to Cornerstone for a drop in day. Choosing Cornerstone for our children’s care was the best thing we ever did …. We know God brought us there; because that’s the way He works!

Dear Cornerstone Staff:

As parents, we believe that quality child care is one of the most important elements of helping our children grow up happy, healthy and balanced.  Between formal daycare centers and nannies we had experienced mediocre child care before we found Cornerstone Learning Center.

From the caring, smiling faces that greeted us each day, to the quality teaching curriculum and staff, our experience with this facility has been excellent.  Knowing if a “boo-boo” occurred, a hug was given and, if necessary, a phone call was made was an incredible comfort to this traveling mom.  Even the field trips are managed with the highest safety standards.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.  Our oldest son is now too old for Cornerstone, but the careful direction and loving, Christian care given to both children will have a lasting impression on our family for the rest of our lives.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us “grow” our children, and for putting hearts at peace knowing that we gave them the best care possible during this very important time in their lives.

My Favorite Place To Go…

Ooh!  I absolutely adore Cornerstone.  Everybody there knows me.  I’ve been going there for about seven years now and I still go there after school.  Every year a new person comes but every few years someone leaves.

My very first teacher I ever had still works there.  Her hair is red as fire and she is very beautiful.  I also met my best friend in the world, Lyndsy.  Me and her are still good friends.

Cornerstone has the greatest field trips in the summer.  We get to go swimming in Coppell and we get to go to the movie theatre and much, much more.  If we don’t go on a field trip then someone usually comes to us like the ice cream truck.  Cornerstone even has locklins, which I’ve heard to be so much fun and exciting.

I’m really glad to go to Cornerstone, it’s almost like having a second family.  I’ve met some of the best friends there.  When I leave, it is going to be really depressing for me and when teachers leave it’s sad too.  But Cornerstone is the greatest and most terrific place on earth and that’s why I love Cornerstone.  The place that I have many memories of.

Marc and I would like to extend our sincere gratitude for the warmth and positive Christian environment the Staff and Management at Cornerstone provides our daughter on a daily basis.  Ellyson has been a student at Cornerstone for a little over two years now.  The rapid growth and progress we have seen in her has been truly amazing.  Cornerstone was her first experience in a daycare environment so we were obviously concerned how she would react initially. We were pleased to see that everyone on your staff made us feel welcome since day one and we can honestly say we feel like part of the Cornerstone family.  I would recommend your program to anyone!

To new parents of Cornerstone,

We have had our children at Cornerstone for over two years now and have had a fantastic experience!  We love the Christian influence that is incorporated into the curriculum, and the school has very nurturing teachers.  We researched several schooling options, prior to choosing Cornerstone (actually tried one out), and I have to say I am very pleased with where we ended up.

As a parent that has a son in public Kindergarten, what he learned at Cornerstone has given him a complete edge over his current classmates.  He left Cornerstone being able to count to 100, knowing his colors, months of the year, days of the week, navigating computers, learning how to read and many other skills, including responsibility and accountability.

My daughter who is in preschool here, is learning bible verses, colors, numbers, opposites, differences / similarities, the alphabet, nursery rhymes, geography and more!

We are very fortunate to have found Cornerstone.

I am so grateful for the opportunity you have provided for the monthly Parent Night. As busy parents it’s all too often that we focus all of our energies into our children and other vital responsibilities (which is how it should be) but sometimes we don’t take time out to invest in our partners, which is equally as important.

One of my personal goals this year was to make a monthly date night with my husband and I was happily surprised to learn about Parent’s Night Out. We have very few family members in the area who can watch our precious little one, so this is a gift we can look forward to each month. It gives us a time to reconnect and enjoy quality one-on-one time while having the peace of mind that our son is in great hands, in a place that he loves. That means more to us than you know. The price is extremely reasonable and includes dinner and activities. We know our child is safe and happy and we also have the chance to enjoy a night out on the town. And, when parents are happy, our kids are happy too. It’s a win-win situation.

I truly encourage other parents to take advantage of the opportunity and to share this monthly event with friends and family. It would be great to continue this wonderful event and I thank you again from the bottom of my heart for making this event possible. We appreciate your efforts!
